  This is a very welcoming church. There are many ministries they do for the community. There are traditional and contemporary service as well as an alternative service called Grace Space.

  The people are nothing short of lovely but if you're looking for Biblical teaching and leadership, this isn't the place, unfortunately.

  St Matts is a community of imperfect people doing their best to passionately serve our Awesomely Perfect God and the city of York. This family of believers practices service through its youth center "The Matts," food pantry, work with Compassion York, Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross and is home to many community groups and outreach ministries. The congregation is alive in The Word and strives to make this place a home for those of all ages wishing to grow in and act on their faith. There's something for everyone here - music programs, traditional and more modern worship, youth activities, adult classes, small groups, service projects and more! Come join us - just as you are - you are welcome here!
